Wouldn't want to live in a world without sports
This is why we love sports. Whether it's football, cricket, wrestling, or any other sport, at the end of the day, it's the stories that captivate us.
When you think about it, Cody's story is almost as old as his dad. Roman and Seth, a story that started nearly 10 years ago. All these stories coming together at a single point in space and time give us this overwhelming emotional experience—a type of experience that we live for.
We've been lucky enough to witness several such stories in our time, such as Leicester City's impossible title run, Messi's ascension to heaven, Sanga & Mahela's redemption, and Real Madrid's UCL reign, among so many other captivating emotional dreamlike stories that some wouldn't even believe if told 50 years from now.
Today, yet again, it made me think about how grateful I am to sports for all these unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and memories. These stories can reach a place in our hearts that nothing else can, and that's why I wouldn't want to live in a world without sports.
